Terms of Service
These terms explain the rules for using Quortup and what you can expect from us.
1. Agreement
By using quortup.com ("Quortup", "the Service"), you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. Quortup is operated by Anand Krishna P V in India.
2. The Service
Quortup provides browser based quantum circuit simulation, visualization tools, an AI assistant, notebooks, tutorials, and optional submission of circuits to IBM Quantum hardware using your own IBM Quantum account. Core features are currently offered free of charge. We may add, change, or remove features over time.
3. Accounts
- You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
- You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign in details secure.
- Information you provide, including for the academic grant, must be accurate.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Break the law or infringe the rights of others while using Quortup.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to Quortup systems, other accounts, or the services of our providers.
- Overload the Service with automated or excessive requests, or bypass usage limits.
- Publish content in the public gallery that is unlawful, abusive, or that you do not have the right to share.
- Misuse the AI assistant to generate harmful content.
5. Your content
You keep ownership of the circuits, notebooks, and other content you create. You give Quortup a limited permission to store, process, and display that content as needed to operate the Service. If you publish content to the public gallery, you allow other users to view and reuse it. You can unpublish or delete your content at any time.
6. AI generated output
Responses from the AI assistant are produced automatically by a third party model and may be incomplete or incorrect. Review and test any AI generated circuit or code before relying on it.
7. Simulation and hardware results
Simulations run on classical computers and compute the mathematics of quantum states; they are not physical quantum hardware. Results are provided for education and research exploration. For published research, verify important results independently, for example by comparing against Qiskit. Jobs sent to IBM Quantum are subject to IBM's own terms, queue times, and availability, which Quortup does not control.
8. Open source components
Parts of Quortup are released under the Apache License 2.0. Third party components are used under their own licenses as listed in our notices file.
9. Availability
We work to keep Quortup available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms.
10. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by law, Quortup is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the Service. Please keep your own copies of important work.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. The "Last updated" date shows the latest version. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
